Envers, Hillsborough – Sheffield

💫 The food was exceptional, I had my heart set on trying some of the meze and dips, and I really wanted both chicken & lamb for my main. So my cravings were definitely satisfied. The red wine and Efes beers went down lovely, and the staff were really friendly and great.

We enjoyed;

  • Meze; we chose stuffed vine leave, halloumi (massive chunks, which I loved), Turkish sausage & Cacik dip with some tomato & cheese flatbread.
  • Mixed kebab – lamb, chicken and kofte with bulgar, flatbread & salad. There was more than enough on my plate (didn’t manage all the kofte) but it was all delicious.
  • Beyti – Lamb kofte kebab, wrapped in balloon bread with garlic butter and topped with homemade tomato sauce. This was certainly something different and was both tasty and very filling.

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here, and would recommend as a restaurant to visit! Find out more about Envers on their website here.
