A Greek Street Food vendor based in Cutlery Works, Kelham Island, who’s menu is based around the “rich Greek gastronomy”. Choose from delightful feasts such as gyros wraps, meat feast plates, kebabs and various other dishes, with vegetarian and vegan options too.
This week as part of a Sheffield Foodie Socials event, we were kindly invited by Greek God’s Cuisine to try their mouth-watering Greek street food, and what a treat it was. The menu here is vast, you can choose from such delights as “Traditional” Gyros Wraps, Mixed or “Mythical” Wraps, Main Meals/Trays such as Pork Souvlaki/Falafel Tray/Moussaka, and some fantastic sides like loaded fries Greek-style. There was almost too much choice for me to make a decision!

Ben made a quick decision and went with the God’s Meat Feast; Marinated pork souvlaki, chicken gyros, minced lamb kebab, Greek sausage all served with pitta bread, salad, chips, tzatziki and legendary Gods’ sauce (which we think involved mustard and garlic?). Wow, when this tray is brought to your table if your eyes don’t almost pop out with glee then who even are you? Feast is the perfect word to describe this meal. Juicy mixed meats that looked great and were cooked to perfection, with a pile of chips and refreshing dips as well as what I call proper “holiday” tomatoes (Big and juicy!). The pitta bread is really authentic too. A great feast for one person, might be a good meal to share if you want to try other sides/halloumi etc.
I went with Pork Souvlaki Meal; served on a Greek pitta with salad, chips, tzatziki and Gods’ sauce. The 2 skewers of pork were delicious and cooked well. I received a mountain of chips and the pitta and tzatziki really took me back to my holidays in Greece. A very filling meal but absolutely spot on.

Other meals enjoyed by the group that looked amazing were; Chicken and Pork mixed gyros wrap, Olympus sharer tray with 7 different grilled meats, Veggie platters, Pitta with Dips + Vine leaves, Baklava etc. Divine.
As part of the event we were kindly gifted a discount towards our food and free softs drinks from the bar at Cutlery Works – thanks everyone! The staff at Greek Gods’ were really friendly and attentive and due to the nature in how their food is cooked, the wait for food wasn’t long at all. It was a great evening socialising with like-minded food lovers whilst trying some amazing food.
