Sixes Cricket Social, Headingley

4 of us went along to Sixes in Headingley, Leeds a couple of months ago, for a fun afternoon of indoor cricket, drinks & food. If you don’t go to Headingley much like me, it’s based where Manahatta or Arc (showing my age now) used to be.

I hadn’t played any cricket or bat and ball sport since school so I didn’t expect to do very good at it, and like always with these type of things, I came last BUT I still had lots of fun and got involved. This place is huge, so this activity would be fun for all ages, and groups sizes!

🍸The cocktail menu here is fabulous, with lots of fruity options. I went with a Seasonal Spritz; Italicus Bergamot, Lillet Rose, Chapel down Brut.

The food consists of sharers, burgers, pizzas to share, and on Sundays you can get a steak roast dinner, served in a giant Yorkshire. I really wanted pizza, but Ben really wanted a Sunday Dinner, and my friends opted for the burgers. So yeah… I had a pizza to share, just for myself… and it didn’t even fit on the table. But it was good, and I took home leftovers!! The food was decent.

➡️Sixes have a number of branches, but only this one in Yorkshire. Cricket nets are available for 2-30 people, from £14.50 for 30 minutes, upwards. They also offer a Bottomless Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays 11-pm, which is £34 each and you get a main or pizza and a selection of drinks including cocktails and beer.

Check out their website here for more info.
