Tao, Leeds

The service that my friend and I receive here was top notch, as we were both new to a hot pot, and we were guided through every step. The restaurant even has a little tips & cooking times sheet that you can follow, to help as well. The food is full of flavour, the range of quality ingredients is superb, and everything is so fresh. What a fun, social dining experience. I definitely tried ingredients that I wouldn’t usually try, as we went with one of the Fixed Menus, and we didn’t regret it one bit.

We enjoyed;

  • Lychee Mojitos & Bellinis (mocktails)️
  • Fixed Price Menu A (£38pp, 2 people minimum) which includes; double broth of choice, dips and rice. New Zealand Lamb, Beef rolls,King Scallops, Prawn dough balls, Tiger Prawns, Beef balls, mixed mushrooms, Chinese Yam and Noodles.️
  • Signature Plate Ja Ping, which includes; Duck spring rolls, sesame prawn toast, chicken skewers with satay sauce, King Do ribs and seaweed.

I honestly can’t thank the staff here enough for a memorable afternoon full of delicious food. Now I am ready to try more hot pots!! Tao also has a range of Dim Sum and an A La Carte Menu with Claypot rice, curries and other dishes available. Daily between 12pm-4pm you can enjoy an unlimited Hot Pot experience for 2 hours, for just £38pp, or £20 for children under 12. Their restaurant is such a beautiful setting for a special meal.
