This gorgeous little family-run Dessert Parlour based in Beeston, South Leeds, serves some fun and tasty premium desserts and sweet treats such as Crepes, Waffles, Brownies, Gelato, Milkshakes and more. Available to collect or for local delivery. [AD|INVITE]

I was kindly invited to the recently opened Desserts by Akhbar and met the friendly owners, who created some fresh desserts for my Mum and myself. They were really good and VERY indulgent. The small venue is a takeaway store only, not a sit-in restaurant, but it is so aesthetic and PINK! It’s been very well done out and it’s a great little place for locals to come grab some fantastic dessert, or those that travel a little further, you should be able to park on the street outside and come collect yourself some lovely treats.

We enjoyed;

• Pistachio Kunafa Crepe (£7.99)- the first I have seen, this is the crepe version of the viral Dubai Pistachio Kunafa/Knafeh Chocolate Bar. Gooey Pistachio & Chocolate Sauce and crispy shredded pastry folded into a fluffy crepe, topped with crushed pistachio.. YUM!! This was served with a branded wafer and vanilla gelato.
• White Chocolate & Raspberry Gelato (£1.50) – a creamy, refreshing lovely flavour
• Pistachio Gelato (£1.50) – had to grab a scoop of this of course, delish!
• Strawberry Sensation Waffle (£899)- Topped with fresh Strawberries and Nutella. Served with Vanilla Gelato. I also asked for extra Ferrero Rocher on top. A little sickly in full, but so rich and tasty; I love these type of desserts.

* MORE – Milkshakes, Brownie Trays, Gulub Jamun Trays, Milk Cakes, Mr Tee’s Whippy Ice Cream Trays, Cookie Dough…all the treats your taste buds crave.
